We all have a Greater Purpose in life than our current situation. Just like the seasons change the leaves on a tree, our situations in life change. Our perspectives in life change. Our walk with Christ also changes through the hills and valleys of life challenges.
GPC is established with Evidenced -based science for mental health with the integration of Christian Biblical teachings.
We understanding of how trauma can affect our humanity. Living as a Christian does not exclude us from grief, pain, mental health, life transitions, or trauma.
As humans we can only do so much to help ourselves out of situations and circumstances. Evidenced based sciences can take us farther with understanding the connections to mental, environment, behaviors, and physical. God ultimately will do the things we cannot. Combining various modalities will help you have a better outcome that has potential to be life-changing.
Maybe you have experienced church hurt or spiritual abuse that has kept you from God. Due to the connection of the Church, peers, or circumstance you have struggled in silence, but are ready to heal.
Together we will identify what is needed for you to live a victorious, overcoming life in a safe, judgement free space. By meeting clients where they are, healing can happen.

The COVID pandemic has taught all people in Ministry and not in Ministry that mental health is real. It has taught all of us that even the strongest in faith may need to process their feelings with a trained professional. Talking to a professional does not mean our faith is less, our trust in God is not real, or any other negative thoughts stop us from our personal walk with Christianity. God gave many people a variety of talents in order to support His people in their times of need. Without the brain functioning properly, the rest of the body is unable to function at full capacity. Why not attend to mental health needs? When we are at our best, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, what we can do is limitless. We can truly do what we are called to do when we are wholistically healthy.
PTSD does not only change the lives of our Military, but many others who have never served. Our goal is to support support those who have experienced PTSD, but have never been permitted to process their trauma. Many of our Clients have never shared or processed their trauma until they started therapy. Together we will identify the stressors, warning signs, triggers, and coping skills in a safe space so that you will be able to utilize the skills on your own when therapy has ended. Each week homework will be assigned for you to practice the learned skills. Christian concepts are integrated within all services provided by GPC, including looking through a clinical lens at scripture, prayer, and fasting. We have come along side many people who have experienced various types of abuse including sexual, rape, physical, emotional, and neglect.
Immigration trauma is a real thing many immigrating families experience due to the journey to freedom as well as what they experience once they are are in the States. Our goal is to help connect the Hispanic, Latino(a), and Latinx with therapeutic services and resources without the need of an interpreter.
We recognize many times, mental illness has gone untreated, undiagnosed, and has been stigmatized. We will work with you to peel back layers of behavioral and emotional patterns to identify a way forward towards healing. We believe in wholeness healing, which means working with releases with your pastoral team, medical providers, or family members as a team to lift patients up. At times patients come in and are able to complete therapy in 6-8 sessions, while other times, due to complex trauma, therapy becomes a lifestyle. Our goal is to help people where they are at with skills, science, and point to God.

Life Coaching can happen face to face or virtually with anyone located in the world.
Life Coaching is a profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.
You, the client, are the only expert in your entire life who truly knows who you are and what you need. You are the only expert who can recognize what is absolutely best for you. We are simply experts in the coaching process. As your coach, we help you discover what your own personal "best" might be.
If you need clinical therapy, you will be referred to a clinical therapist for those needs.

GPC is Private Pay only and does not accept Insurance, Tricare, or Medicaid.
We are considered Out of Network (OON)
Payment is required on the day of the service. A credit/debit card, FSA, or HSA card will be held on file in order to process payments. GPC uses only HIPPA compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR). GPC will only respond to clients through approved HIPPA compliant portals.
Life Coaching is not covered with FSA/HSA payments.
All group session will require 50% of entire session paid up front. The other 50% will be paid at the half way mark. Any session missed by the client/patient will not be reimbursed.
This is a way that we am able to individualize therapy for my clients, bring Christian Counseling into the therapy sessions, and think outside of the box in regards to treatment.
Training for churches - payment will be expected prior to the training.
Can reimbursement happen without a diagnosis?
Can reimbursement happen with a provisional diagnosis?
Is Christian Counseling/faith-based services approved for reimbursement?
What modes of therapy are acceptable for reimbursement?
What are my units (how many) of approved therapy? (individual, group therapy, teletherapy, couple, or family, clinical interview).
Who is able to clinically diagnose for reimbursement?
While it is the hope, GPC does not guarantee that insurance or Medicaid will reimburse you for your therapy services rendered. More often our experience shows that third part reimbursement gets denied.
Communication to insurance or Medicaid is the sole responsibility of the client and not GPC. If GPC staff have to communicate with insurance, patients will be billed for the time.
GPC does offer provisional clinical diagnosis. Provisional diagnosis takes time to explore after assessments have been completed and therapy has been established to identify symptoms and DSM-5 Criteria. Provisional clinical diagnosis is only offered to patients who live in Indiana and are meeting with a clinical therapist.

Do I have to be Christian to participate with therapy?
No. You can be of a different branch of Christianity, or not Christian at all. Being client focused opens the door for people to apply their faith or leave faith out. of therapy and life coaching.
Who will know I am seeing a Therapist Or Life Coach?
Only the people you tell or approve for us to talk with will know you are in therapy. Even with a release, you approve what is discussed.
How long will therapy or Life Coaching take?
As long as needed. It is based on the individual need, progress, and ability to apply the learned skills. It is not my goal to keep clients in therapy longer than needed. Groups will only last as long as the cycle.
Does seeing a Therapist or Life Coach mean I do not have faith in God?
No!! God gave many people within the Body of Christ different skill sets to help each other. Seeing a Therapist should be as normal as seeing a Family Doctor or Dentist.

Falicia is an amazing therapist! She has not only helped me through a sea of depression and anxiety, but given me tools to thrive! I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Falicia is very gifted in being able to help you open up and help you see the hard truth so you can heal and move forward in life in a positive direction. If you are looking for a REAL no-nonsense counselor with Christian background look no further.
After working with Falicia Miller for 4 years I have seen her ability to work with challenging issues, her passion to help others, and her unique style of therapy. She goes above and beyond for her clients, thinks outside the box when traditional ways have not worked and gives hope when some have given up. She is very straightforward and builds a strong therapeutic alliance by giving clients all the information. She walks clients through psyhoeducational material, gives them homework, and helps them understand their diagnosis. She is constantly seeking out the newest trainings and evidenced based treatments to offer as many options as possible. She is very knowledgeable in the effects of trauma, crisis response, Trauma Informed Care, and the DSM-5. She lead many trainings for our new hires and is able to incorporate the information with examples from real life situations.
Falicia is an incredible woman and counselor! She is as passionate as they come. She is constantly trying to better herself professionally and is always trying to find more ways to help her clients. She goes the extra mile to help people and is selflessly devoted to giving others the best of herself. She is amazing as what she does, God has blessed her with a special gift!
Highly recommend Falicia Miller!!! Between her personal life experience, years of education, and professional experience, she is absolutely equipped to help her clients. If you have lost all hope, or think your situation is hopeless, give Falicia at Greater Purpose a call.
Professional, organized, available, and location are all exceptional!!!
I have worked with Falicia for several years while she’s been a therapist at Emergency Shelter Care. She has worked with several of my kids on my caseload that have been victims of human trafficking. She has been able to easily build a rapport with these kids and gain their trust quickly. She has great insight into human trafficking and the trauma it can have on a child. She understands how human trafficking has evolved over time and is able to tailor her therapy with these victims to fit their own individual needs. I would highly recommend Falicia for therapy, especially in the area of human trafficking. Kids relate to her well and she is great at communicating with me as a case manager.
