From 2020-2024 Greater Purpose Counseling has not charged when patients and clients have had to cancel regardless of the reason or timeframe. This has been our way of working with individuals when plans change. We understand plans change, sickness happens, and situations are that appointments have to be canceled.
The identified appointment time for which you have scheduled is especially for you and or your family. Our staff and interns have their caseloads set so they can fully focus on you and your treatment. The staff often come from various areas of Indiana and plan according to support you. The staff and interns set aside time to meet you at various locations in Indiana, which means they cannot meet with other patients due to the travel time.
All cancelations must be received by the assigned staff through text, phone call, voicemail, or email by 8 a.m. of the scheduled appointment. Any communication for cancelation past 8 a.m. will result in the card on file being charged.
Starting January 1, 2025 the new rates for canceling or no-showing to appointments are listed as follows:
Fully licensed therapist: $70
Provisionally licensed therapist: $70
Life Coaches: $60
Interns: $30
No-show with no communication will be charged the full rate for the session.
Deposits for intensives will not be refunded if the patient or client cancels. Groups will not be refunded as they are paid for in full or half up front. When participants miss the scheduled group meeting, they will not be refunded. Deposits for psychological assessments or retreats will not be refunded if canceled by the patient or clients.
Group cost will be determined at the time of group depending on who is running the group.
Intensive deposit: $250
Retreat deposit: $250
Psychological assessment deposit: $250
Court fees will be scheduled and charged prior to the court hearing date. Staff will have to reschedule their other appointments to support you in your court. If court is canceled the deposit will not be refunded due to the staff not having time reschedule original appointments.
Patients and clients will be charged a documentation fee for preparation of court based per hour of preparation.
Court appearance deposit: $250
Court appearances are charged in four hour blocks to be present that will be charged the day of service.
Cards on file that decline will result in services stopping until the outstanding balance on file is paid in full. Patients in Indiana and Colorado that are utilizing a HSA/FSA will be required to upload a second card on file. Greater Purpose will not allow patients or clients to run up an outstanding bill that will not be able to pay.
